It's nearly (Motorhome & Caravan) Show Time...

Recommended Posts

The 2013 Motorhome & Caravan Show is rapidly approaching. Preparations are being made and all the manufacturers are launching or finalising their 2014 ranges, ready for the industry event of the year at Birmingham's NEC from 15th-20th October.

Tickets for the show are on sale now, with special advanced rates available up until midnight on the 14th October (the day before the show starts). You can visit the website link above or call 01342 336 666 to book your tickets in advance which will be cheaper than the on-the-door rates.

The week-long event will feature over 400 UK and international brands, previewing, launching and selling their 2014 wares. Entertainment and activities will also feature throughout the week, including TV chef Ed Baines, pop group Club2gether, and caravan-towing and motorhome-manoeuvring advice from the Clubs.

The following is a condensed summary of some of the 2014 motorhomes you can expect to see at the show...

The Adria Compact SPX is new for 2014; a slightly narrower model at 2.12m wide (including mirrors) and less than 6m long.
The Twin range has a new layout for 2014, and the redesigned Coral range now features a panoramic skylight.
AutoSleepers will be bringing their two new panel vans, both based on the extra-long-wheelbase Peugeot Boxer. The Warwick Excel boasts a giant rear lounge, while the Kingham features a fixed French bed layout - the first Auto-Sleepers van conversion to do so.

Auto-trail will be bringing both their popular coachbuilt ranges - the Tracker, Apache and Frontier ranges - and their newly launched V-Line range of Fiat Ducato van conversions. The V-Lines feature increased headroom inside thanks to a raised roof which houses a panoramic sunroof.
The new Approach Autograph range will be on display at Bailey’s stand, featuring Alu-Tech technology and an ultra-low-profile AL-KO lightweight chassis. Two new models to the range will be available for customers to explore.
All of the 2014 Elddis models will be on display at 2013 Motorhome & Caravan Show, including the brand new compact Elddis Accordo range. The 2-berth 105 and 3-berth 125 models measure in at just 6m long and 2.8m high, but include all the benefits of a coachbuilt motorhome.
The 2014 Elddis Autoquests benefit from improved spec and new layouts, and the premium Elddis Aspire range has undergone an interior redesign.
Hobby will be displaying their new Siesta range which has a range of layout in 3 different profiles, all of which come with fitted awnings. The Premium Van range on the Renault chassis also features new models and layouts.
The Hymer B-Class has been jazzed up for 2014; be sure to visit Hymer’s stand to inspect their enviable new interiors.
Lunar’s Vacanza camper car will be on display - a fuel-efficient family car and 4 person camper all in one. A poleless awning is new for this season, inflated with an on-board electrical pump.
Two new ranges for 2014 will be on show - the Bessacarr 400 and the Swift Esprit. The Escape range has been improved; 2014 models will feature a passenger airbag, full-sized spare wheel and an EcoCamel shower-head and hose. Duvalite mattresses from Duvalay will be fitted in fixed bed models.
Vantage are introducing a new front lounge conversion for 2014 - the Vantage VUE.
The MED, SOL, MAX and NEO ranges have also been revitalised for the coming season.
Don't forget that Caravan Talk & Motorhome Talk will be at the Show (stand 17-03). Be sure to pop by and say hello  :)
