I have a leak to the cold feed Tap in the bathroom. When I take the tap assembly off I can see the leak but can't reach it. It looks like a push-fit connection. I am reluctant to break the seal and take the whole panel off. Any suggestions.

If the connector is like the one shown above, it may be that the end of the pipe in the connector is either not fully inserted, or has a ragged end. The collar at the end of the connector can be compressed to release the pipe, allowing it to be pushed further into the coupling, or removed and cleaned before reconnecting it. Extending the collar towards the pipe creates a clamping action on the pipe to seal it. I hope this makes sense.
