Camping Bonterra Park, Benicassim

Recommended Posts

There are 3 main campsites in Benicassim, we decided to inspect all 3 before choosing but Bonterra Park far exceeded the competition.

The campsite is 300metres from the beach and offers very high quality facilities and spacious hardstanding pitches with electric hook up (2 pin) water & Grey water disposal.

The site is well laid out and maintained to a very high standard, very good restaurant, swimming pools etc. Large supermarket opposite entrance. Campsite is just minuets from Benicassim centre and beach/promenade. Benicassim is a beautiful location and world famous for its 'Indie' Music Festivals Numerous quality bars/restaurants & shops.

On the outskirts is the Desierto Des Las Palmas National Park set amongst dramatic mountains with spectacular roads and views, another chance for scooter to earn its keep.

Following the route through the mountains you encounter a deserted monastery with viewing/parking area, next is the beautiful Monasterio Inglasa Museo with small visitors centre and free admission. The monastery is open to visitors morning and evening with stunning photo opportunities.

Next on route is Restaurant Bruno overlooking the valley's and Benicassim in the distance. Owned by a French couple and very high quality its main patio area has incredible views and a menu to match.

At the end of the mountain road is Castell De La Plana with its magnificent castle and picnic/parking area. Open to the public.

We stayed 5 days at Bonterra Park and would happily return again.
