Camping La Bella Vista, Manilva, Estepona

Recommended Posts

Camping La Bella Vista is easily the best campsite I have ever stayed on, the location just outside Manilva is perfect for visiting the main attractions such as Gibraltar (20miles) and Estepona Marina (7miles) The campsite is of the highest quality in every aspect, the staff are excellent reflecting the very high quality facilities available.

Each large pitch is hard standing, well defined with edging borders and fully equipped with Euro Electric Hook up/Water Supply/Grey Water Disposal. All pitches have overhead shades during peak season(1st July onwards) and general site maintenance is excellent.

The underground Toilets/Showers/Laundry are immaculate and spacious.

A large swimming pool close to the beach equipped with sunbeds and shades provide a relaxing alternative to a slightly disappointing shingle beach.

A seperate purpose built Chemical Toilet Waste is located near the entrance. Reception has a small but well stocked shop but Manilva Supermarkets are a short walk away.

The site Restaurant offers a varied menu at very reasonable prices and quality of food is superb.

Site fee's were 22 Euro's per night (pre high season) inc electric. WiFi was extra but relatively cheap.

Location Tips.= A short walk by the beach to Castillo de la Duquesa is a must, beautiful marina, castle and central square with many restaurants or beach cafe's .

Estepona. The Marina is not to be missed, countless high quality bars and restaurants offering a full range of food to suit all tastes but highly recommend Bar Visa Versa along the main marina prom. Mainly English/Irish menu their Full Irish Breakfast is a legend locally. Once eaten, never forgotten.

Sounds idyllic. What a shame that central southern Spain is too far for a day trip from blighty! ;)
